Aquarius Supply has successfully had approximately 350,000 square feet of Typar Grassprotecta specified and installed om projects from Northern New Jersey to Virginia over a two-year span. This project was installed in late fall 2015, where healthy turf grew in rapidly. This is a significant figure in light of the reduction of additional impervious pavement in service. Snow removal can be completed with proper plow equipment. The product can also be used as an effective slope reinforcement and scour protection due to the shape and texture molded into the product. Grassprotecta exceeds a Class 1 Riprap for use in this application.
