Capture & Reuse Commercial Parking Lot

This new building was on a small lot and had a real challenge to handle. Its Stormwater Management needs 6.5.2 Capture & Reuse installed using an underground storage tank to harvest the water. The rainwater harvesting storage tank buried under the parking lot, eliminated the need for an unsightly detention basin that would take up valuable parking spaces. Rainwater, as well as a City Cistern Switchover Valve was used to continue irrigation during the dry times with city water when the storage tank was empty. Both a beautiful landscape is maintained as well as meeting the goals of Stormwater Management through a simple, cost-effective desitgn and control system.
